Overview
Welcome to the EasyReader Premium for Educators Course.
This course is for teachers, teaching assistants and support staff working with students who have a visual impairment, dyslexia or any other print impairment.
Through a series of bite-size lessons, you will learn about the features, application and configuration of the EasyReader Premium service. The aim of this course is to provide you with the information you need to support your students with confidence.
During the course, you will be asked to download and install the latest version of the EasyReader App (this is available free from your device's app store). You will be asked to sign in using a student account so that you can gain first-hand experience using the app.
Course Objectives
After studying this course, you will be able to:
- Accurately name the key features and benefits of the EasyReader Premium service for students, schools, colleges, and universities.
- Accurately describe the management of student logins and the process students follow to obtain accessible books.
- Accurately describe the EasyReader App interface and the popular settings you may wish to adjust to meet student requirements.
Introduction
This course contains eight lessons and ends with a quiz, which is marked. In each lesson, there are three sample questions, which you should try to answer as you proceed through the course. Each lesson should take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
Certification
On successful completion of this course, you will be able to request a Dolphin Certificate and a Certification Badge, which you can display in your signature and on your website. The Certificate and Badge confirms you have completed this course and passed the end of course quiz, providing you with a well-earned record of your accomplishment.
The Certificate and Badge are free of charge, but we do ask you to complete a short course survey.
You will have the opportunity to complete the survey when you have passed the assessment. The Certificate and Badge will be presented to you in an email and will be sent to the contact details you provide.
