Default hotkeys
Below is a list of the default hotkeys assigned to Braille commands within SuperNova and Dolphin ScreenReader. You can add, remove, and replace the key assignments through the "Hotkeys" dialog box (ALT + G, K, H).

Layered hotkeys - The Braille layer
Layered hotkey mode provides an alternative way to access popular settings. To enter the Braille layer within Layered hotkey mode, press CAPS LOCK + SPACEBAR, then B.
Braille layer options include:
- Output On/ Off, O.
- Literary On/ Off, L.
- Enhanced Mode On/ Off, E.
- Tracking On / Off, T.
- 6 Dots On / Off, 6.
- Tremble Capitals On / Off, A.
- Input Keys On / Off, I.
- Literary Input On / Off, Y.
- Hooks On / Off, H.
- On Screen Monitor On / Off, M.
- Cursor On / Off, C.
- Set Cursor Style, U (continue to press U until your chosen style is selected and then press ESCAPE).
- Set Verbosity, V (continue to press V until your chosen Verbosity Scheme is selected an then press ESCAPE).
The Braille layer also includes the following sublayers:
- Describe Character layer, D.
- Physical layer, P.
- Routing Buttons layer, R.
As well as using shortcut keys, you can also use TAB and SHIFT + TAB to explore the available options, ENTER to select an item, BACKSPACE to go back to the previous layer and ESCAPE to exit Layered hotkey mode.
